The first Grand Theft Auto V trailer was released today by Rockstar Games at 4pm GMT. Rockstar announced the game 1 week ago today. The last week has been filled with speculation and discussion throughout the gaming community. Now the speculation is over, well at least some of it is.
Our last encounter with the world of Grand Theft Auto on a console was in Grand Theft Auto IV which was released on 29 April 2008. That’s more than 3 years ago since a full game was released to a console. Between then and now we have had dabbles with the franchise in GTA IV extensions and China Town Wars on DS, PSP and iOS.
This game is the second generation of Grand Theft Auto on the Xbox 360 and PS3. With All console generations before (PC & PS1, Xbox & PS2) Rockstar have bettered the next game on that generation. Lets hope the trend continues in GTA V.
