My discovery of this game will tell you all that you really need to know. So I better leave that until nearer the end of the post. Cordy is a Android game produced by SilverTree Media. In Cordy, you play as a small robot, tasked with restoring power to different segments of his planet so that it can once again light up the night sky. This is achieved by collecting 6 “Zap Drops” on each level. All 6 drops must be collected on each level and brought to a generator to open the end door. Each level has 3 stars you can collect. One for beating the target time, one for completing the level and one for collecting all of the gears which are scattered around each level.

The gameplay is basically a sidescroller but it is a very fun implementation. Many aspects seem to take from and feel like Sonic the Hedgehog. The levels twist and turn this multidimensional level set up gives the game a very fresh and enjoyable feel. It’s fully rendered in 3D creating an exciting visual effect.
The controls are very easy to master and are very well placed on the screen. There are 4 four buttons to navigate the levels with. Your left hand controls the side scroll movement, your right interacts with the world. Cordy is available on the Android Market as a free download, however only the first four of levels are available to start. To continue you’ll have to purchase the full version from within the game. It is also available on iTunes App Store with the same purchase method as on android.
By the way I discoved this game because it was android markets editors choice, shows how good this game is. Well worth the small payment for either platform.
